In flexitank industry, for the making of PE liquid liner film design flexitank, there are three types of liquid liner PE film being employed commonly. They are classified by thickness as follows.
- Thick: 500 to 1000 micron – for single ply design
- Medium: 200 to 400 micron – for 2 ply design
- Thin: Below 150 micron (typically 125 / 115 / 110 micron) – for 4 ply and/or 3 ply design
Each different type of film requires different physical properties and being made per different recipe and different manufacture process parameter.
Per liner classification by film thickness, MFB provides the “MW” & “Mitra” dual brand supply to the market.
